On June 6, 2025, Hand in Hand will host a special Charity Gala Dinner at the Dusit Thani Hotel, Bangkok, to raise urgent funds for communities affected by the recent earthquakes in Myanmar. Guests will enjoy an extraordinary evening of gourmet cuisine by top Bangkok chefs, live music, a silent auction, and meaningful stories from those connected to the cause.

Hand in Hand is a non-profit initiative led by chefs, entrepreneurs, and journalists dedicated to raising awareness and support for vulnerable communities. Through collaborative events and community-driven campaigns, we work to create meaningful impact where traditional systems fall short.

In early 2025, Myanmar was struck by a series of devastating earthquakes that left thousands displaced and entire communities in ruins. With limited access to emergency aid due to complex logistics and restrictions on international transfers, many survivors are still waiting for food, shelter, and medical care.

The need is immediate — and growing. That’s where grassroots action and trusted local networks come in.

We’re rallying a community of chefs, artists, and changemakers to respond with speed and compassion. Proceeds from the gala will directly support the distribution of food, essential goods, and urgent relief through Myanmar-led initiatives and local partners operating in Thailand and along the border.

One of the key partners we are supporting is Medical Action Myanmar (MAM) — an organization delivering critical medical care, clean water to over 12,500 people daily, sanitation services, and psychological support to earthquake survivors. MAM’s work is grounded in local expertise and rapid-response capacity, ensuring that all of donations go directly toward life-saving supplies and services.

Our mission: act fast, stay transparent, and ensure every THB makes a difference.

Funds raised will be used to deliver life-saving aid, including:

• Nutritious meals for displaced families

• Hygiene and medical supply kits

• Logistical support for safe and efficient delivery

• Clean water and sanitation through frontline partners like MAM

• Psychological and health support for trauma recovery

• Longer-term recovery needs for impacted communities
